About Delayna
Hello! I'm Delayna! I am a wife, mom of five (and sometimes six because we do foster care!), Jesus follower, animal lover, fitness fanatic, and homeschooler. When I'm not taking care of the family you'll find me at the gym, hiking a trail, serving on the worship team at my church (I sing and play the bass guitar), or in the backyard with my chickens!
I had a different birth experience with each of my five children. After I birthed my fourth baby at home, a desire rose up in me to help other women feel empowered and capable like I had. I had such a great experience after educating and advocating for myself that I wanted to share it with others. I wanted to spread the word about what birth could be! This propelled me into my doula journey in 2014.
I enjoy passing empowerment to families. I love seeing others boldly take their experience by the reins and make it their own. Pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum days are forever ingrained in our memories! Coming alongside families through the process is nothing short of a blessed honor. What a privilege to witness a baby—and a mother—be born!
I am certified both as a birth and postpartum doula. My infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid certifcations are always up-to-date. I have trained with Spinning Babies and taught childbirth prep, newborn care, and breastfeeding classes. I have been told I am very "nurturing" and I believe it's true! I enjoy taking care of others, it fuels me. As a believer, I am open to praying and even singing over babies, mothers, siblings, anyone!

Pregnancy & Birth Support
Delayna provides support through pregnancy, including prep classes and birth planning. Then, Delayna supports families during your labor and birth—whether in a hospital, birth center, or at home.
Postpartum Care
With a focus on nurturing both the parent and the newborn, Delayna offers compassionate in-home postpartum support, including breastfeeding assistance, emotional guidance, and practical help around the house. Daytime and overnight scheduling is available for your convenience.
Birth Photography
Capturing in time one of life's most precious moments, Delayna offers birth photography services with options for digital images packages.
