Hello, I'm Delayna! I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, serving the San Antonio area since 2014. I am a wife, mom of five (and sometimes six because we provide foster care), Jesus-follower, animal lover, fitness fanatic, and homeschooler. When I'm not taking care of the family you'll find me at the gym, hiking a trail, or serving on the worship team at my church.

I had a different birth experience with each of my five children. After the birth of my fourth baby (my first homebirth), a desire rose up in me to help other women feel empowered and capable like I had. I wanted to share this possibility with others. I wanted to spread the word about what birth could be! This propelled me into my doula journey in 2014.

I enjoy passing empowerment to families. I love seeing others boldly take their experience by the reins and make it their own. Pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum days are forever ingrained in our memories! Coming alongside families through the process is nothing short of a blessed honor. What a privilege to witness a baby—and a mother—be born!

I am certified both as a birth and postpartum doula. My infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid certifcations are always up-to-date. I have trained with Spinning Babies and taught childbirth prep, newborn care, and breastfeeding classes. I have been told I am very "nurturing" and I believe it's true! I enjoy taking care of others, it fuels me. As a believer, I am open to praying and even singing over babies, mothers, siblings, anyone!
